The Rochester Art Club was founded in 1877 and is one of the oldest continuously active art groups in the United States. They have a studio and gallery on the fourth floor of the Hungerford Building (Rooms 437-439), where they also offer classes and workshops.

Members through out the years have included people of all backgrounds, with the common interest in art. Rochester however has been a capital of image making for decades, and many notable artists and patrons have been part of the Rochester Art Club. Members works can be found in private collections and public institutions.
