About the event
Bill White, owner of Village Gallery in Caledonia, will present a program called "Learning from the Masters". He will show some of his sketchbook studies
from the paintings that he admires. His process involves re-making the paintings using various media to learn more about them. He makes notes on the side of his studies to help remind himself of the things that he discovered. The image pictured is a recent study from Bill's sketchbook of a painting by Frans Hals at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. This exciting program is open to Rochester Art Club members and guests free of charge.
