Gwen Causeland and Hannelore Wolcott-Bailey will be participating in the 12th Art Barn Show with the Keuka Lake Group of Six. A portion of the artists’ sales will be donated to the Yates County Arts Center to benefit the new gallery space, soon to open on Main Street, Penn Yan. Show is Saturday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 3rd from 10AM-4PM. Location is 2 miles south of Penn Yan on Rt. 54. Turn into Blue Spruce Lane to the barn. Rain or shine with refreshments.

Patricia Tribastone, PSA, IAPS MC received the prestigious Master Circle Award at the IAPS Convention in Albuquerque, NM in early June. IAPS is The International Association of Pastel Societies and holds their conference biannually.

Carol Bensley won a Merit Award in the Penfield Art Association Spring Show. Erika Hutch won the Outstanding Portrait Award in the same show. Erika Hutch, Judith Springer, Suzi Zefting-Kuhn, Bob Keim each won a Juror’s Award.

Peggy Martinez will have a spec for exhibition at the Bellus Lux Lucius Fine Art Gallery and will have a solo show in the early fall. She has been accepted in the We don’t have enough of nature online exhibit at the Still Point Art Gallery and received the Artist of Distinction honor to exhibit online for year starting in August.

Dr. Hwang Nam Chang won First Place in the Niagra Frontier Watercolor Society Exhibition at the University of Buffalo Anderson Art Gallery. Teresa Barlis won the Zoomfinder Award. Roland Stevens won the Canson Inc. Merchandise Award.

Mary Lou Swicklik won a Merit Award at the Irondequoit Art Club’s 53rd Spring Show on April 28th.

Roland Stevens has a solo exhibit at the Wayne County Council for the Arts, 108 W. Miller St., Newark, NY 14513 July 7th through July 30th. Opening reception is Friday, July 8th 5-7PM.

Harry Bliss has been accepted in the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors for the 14th time, making him the oldest (88) artist to be accepted in that exhibit. He along with Cris Baker will be featured in a 2-person exhibit at Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Auburn, NY. Harry will be showing 30 works many of which have been award winning in national and regional shows. The exhibit runs from September 2nd-October 23rd.
